But, I found some great deals along with hers. Here's how I did today at CVS:
Original non-coupon total - $45.61
Total after all coupons, sales and Extra Bucks - $4.80
Savings of $40.81 or 89%!!
Here's the rundown on the deals:
- Carefree pads - originally 1.69, on sale 10/$10, + coupon for $1 off from the Sunday paper from 4/25 - final price - FREE!
- CVS Sheer bandaids - originally 2.59, on sale for 10/$10 + CVS coupon (from card scanner in the store) for $1 off 2 CVS first aid products - final price .50 - savings of 81%
- CVS Adhesive tape - originally 2.99, on sale for 10/$10 + CVS coupon (from card scanner in the store) for $1 off 2 CVS first aid products - final price .50 - savings of 83%
- 2 Right Guard Total Defense 5s - originally priced 4.49 each, on sale for 2.99 + $3 off of 2 coupon from coupons.com (it was under zip code 49417 but I don't see it, anymore. But, there is a $1 off of 1 coupon, still so print 2) + CVS is offering a $4 Extra bucks when you buy 2 so this is a money-maker, even with the smaller coupons.
- Cottonelle bath tissue - originally 12.49, on sale for 4.99 (even this is a good deal) + a .50 coupon from the 4/18 Sunday paper, I think, final cost 4.50 for a savings of 64%
- Crest Pro-Health toothpaste, originally 3.89, on sale for 3.50, with a coupon for .75 from thed 5/1 Sunday's paper + a CVS Extra bucks for 3.50 making this a .75c money-maker!
- Sudafed Triple Action (this was the main reason I went to begin with)- originally 7.99, on sale for 6.99 with a $2 coupon from the Sudafed.com website, making this only 4.99
- Visine - originally 4.99 + a coupon for $1 off from the Visine.com website
- PLUS - I got a $5 off coupon for the Sudafed and Visine from the 4/11 Sunday Paper (the one with all the allergy medicines in it) Which means I got one of these for free! So, at $5 for both, that's a savings of 61%!
Happy Couponing!
