My 81% savings at Wags, Tonight

I was quite excited to get some great deals at Walgreens tonight. Here's how it went:

• Quaker oats - on sale for $1.50 and I had a $1 coupon - total .50
• Pilot gel pens - bought 2 at sale price of $1.19 with a $1 Q for each so total of .19 ea.
• Pilot highlighter - sale price of $1.19 with a $1 Q so total of .19
• Tuf kitchen garbage bags - price 4.29 with a $1.30 Q so total of 3.00
• 2 boxes of 50 sandwich bags - sale price of 2/$3 with a 1.02 Q so total of 2.02 or 1.01 ea
• Kotex U pads - sale price of 3.49 with a $1 Q so total of 2.49

All of these coupons were either in the weekly circular or the April coupon book at the front of the store.

Total of 8.58 and I got a $2.50 Register Reward which brings it down to 6.08. Against the non-sale price of everything total (29.29) that's a savings of $22.71 or 81%!! WooHoo!

Plus! The pilot pens have a rebate of $4.50 because I bought 3. That makes the total around $1.58 for everything! See the rebate on the back of the highlighters. That's a good shopping day.
